As Lead Data & Analytics, you lead and grow Actureʼs Data team and play a key role in the transition from historically grown DataOps activities to a strategic, group-level data capability that enables the organization. You combine hands-on technical leadership with people management and stakeholder alignment, owning the evolution of Actureʼs unified data strategy and turning fragmented data work into a coherent, scalable platform that supports product teams, decision making, and long-term platform ambitions.
What you’ll do
As a Lead Data & Analytics
- Own and drive the implementation of Actureʼs unified data strategy, translating strategic objectives into a clear, pragmatic roadmap that balances long term initiatives with operational needs.
- Lead, shape, and further grow the Data team, both in size and maturity, developing people, structure, collaboration, and ways of working Agile as the scope evolves.
- Act as a hands-on technical leader, contributing to architecture, data modeling, pipelines, and critical analytics where it matters most.
- Transform historically grown, ad-hoc data tasks into well-defined, maintainable capabilities with clear ownership and technical standards.
- Align data engineering, analytics, and BI work into a coherent end-to-end data platform.
- Position the team as an enabling team that collaborates closely with value stream teams, empowering them with data rather than operating as a ticket-based service.
- Take ownership of stakeholder management and prioritization, setting expectations, and making trade-offs

Your experience
In addition to a personal match.
Must haves
- Proven experience leading and developing a cross-disciplinary technical team, balancing execution, coaching, and people management, and operating effectively in Agile environments (e.g., Scrum).
- Strong background in data engineering and analytics, including data warehousing, ETL/ELT pipelines, and analytical data modeling. Lead Data & Analytics
- Hands-on experience with SQL and Python in production data environments (data pipelines, analysis, automation).
- Solid understanding of data quality, governance, and scalable data platform design, including operating in regulated environments.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to create clarity in ambiguous environments, manage expectations, and say no when needed.
- Bachelor-level working and thinking ability; fluent in English C1 .
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with BI and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI , including semantic models and stakeholder-facing dashboards.
- Experience working with or alongside data scientists and analytical or exploratory workloads.
- Exposure to emerging technologies, such as AI or advanced analytics, and the ability to translate these into pragmatic, compliant use cases.
